About Matt Austin Photographer
Lyme Regis UK D.O.B 17/01/80 I have been working as a Photographer mainly in the South West of England from Lyme Regis, Dorset for the last 13 years. In my career I have covered nearly all aspects of Photography, working mainly for Press and Magazine publications. My work has been published in Books, Local, Regional, National and International publications. I have been nominated for the Young Photographer of the Year in the National Picture Editors Awards 4 times and winning the title in 2003 I have also been nominated in the National Press Gazette Regional Awards for News Photographer of the Year 4 times as well as the EDF Regional Press Awards 3 times winning the title once. Also in my time working for South West Media Group I was the Picture Editor for the Express and Echo newspaper and Devon Today Magazine, managing a team of 6 photographers and one Picture desk assistant whilst still contributing as a photographer. In most of my working assignments I rarely get the privilege of time, so I am used to working under pressure and delivering quality and unique images. |
